The 47th international kolkata book fair is set to have over 1,000 stalls, a 10% increase from last year.

The 48th internatio­nal kolkata book fair, scheduled from january 28 to february 9, 2025, will be held at boimela prangan in salt lake, with germany as the focal theme. In the 47th international kolkata book fair 2024, january 19 will be celebrated as ‘theme country uk day’ and 21 january 2024 as ‘children’s day’.
